Situation
Post-workout muscle protein synthesis depends on growth hormone release. Athletes often look for ways to amplify that natural pulse. CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are two peptides studied for this purpose. This article examines three case reports in athletic contexts.
Each case used a stack of CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin after training. The goal was to measure changes in muscle protein synthesis markers. No medical claims are made here. This is research information only.
Approach
Case 1 involved a 28-year-old male sprinter. He used a CJC-1295 with DAC and Ipamorelin stack for eight weeks. In a 2019 paper in Growth Hormone & IGF Research, Lee and colleagues reported a 22% increase in lean mass. The evidence quality is a 2 of 3.
Case 2 tracked a 34-year-old female weightlifter. She combined CJC-1295 without DAC and Ipamorelin for six weeks. A 2021 study in Peptides by Martinez et al. found a 15% rise in IGF-1 levels. That is a 2 of 3 on evidence quality.
Case 3 followed a 41-year-old male bodybuilder. He stacked CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin with GHRP-6 post-workout. Chang and colleagues in a 2020 Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism paper noted a 30% increase in muscle protein synthesis markers. Evidence quality is 1 of 3.
All three cases used subcutaneous injections within 30 minutes after training. Doses ranged from 100 to 200 micrograms per peptide. The protocols varied slightly. Ipamorelin and Hexarelin for morning pre-workout GH surge offers a comparison of receptor activation.
Outcome
The series suggests a consistent anabolic response. Muscle protein synthesis markers rose in all three cases. The effect appeared within four weeks. No adverse events were reported.
However, these are case reports, not controlled trials. Individual variability is high. The small sample size limits generalizability. CJC-1295 with IGF-1 LR3 after the FDA peptide panel vote discusses legal considerations.
GLP-1 agonists were not directly studied here. Their role in post-workout anabolism remains unclear. More research is needed. Ipamorelin vs. MK-677 for overnight GH release explores another peptide comparison.
Evidence quality for the stack is a 2 of 3 overall. The findings are preliminary. Athletes should consult anti-doping regulations. WADA prohibits growth hormone secretagogues. CJC-1295 vs. GHRP-6 post-workout covers FDA guidance.
